Challenge: Redesigned the album art and CD packaging for Radiohead's OK Computer. Since OK Computer's album art was already designed beautifully the bar was high, and I had to think outside-the-box to discover a successful solution.
Approach: Overall, OK Computer as a piece is both musically and lyrically obscure and focuses on the inner anxieties that manifest within. While formulating studies I stepped away from the computer and used a scanner and a fabric tape measure as my creative medium. This experimental process allowed me to push the inner anxiety concept into a great abstract space. The scanner captured the tape measures movement in a way that evoked a feeling of endless uncertainty; inner anxiety.
